Brace Face

I think she looks lovely.

She was nervous, just like anyone would be. Her friends have been telling her that it hurts, so of course she was nervous.

It took only an hour for molds to be made, brackets, wires and colored bands to be put on. I barely had any time to write. I can't believe I'm complaining because I didn't get to sit in the waiting room long enough, oh brother!

She said the only thing that bothered her was the tasted of the goop they used to make the molds. It was sour and stung like a needle being shot into her tongue. Uh...

Now we just have to load her up with motrin and soft foods like mashed potatoes for a while. I've been impressed with how advanced orthodontics have gotten. Plasma screen tv's, spy cams, titanium wires with memory and digital everything. You even use a keyboard to sign in. Nice.
No more going to the dentist every month...her next appt. is in 8 weeks. That's 2 months. Gotta love that!
