One Year ago on this day...April 8th

After a 5 hour trail ride the unthinkable happened. The horse she was on reared up. Let me just add that Thea is an AVID rider. She knows horses! Thea didn't fall off the horse, she slid off his backside on purpose, knowing something was wrong. She had no way of knowing the horse would also be thrown off balance, landing his 1000 pounds on top of her. She felt no pain and thought her legs where broken.
I know she'll be replaying that one day's events over and over in her mind. One year...you've come a long way, friend! First we'll cry then round out the evening with a margarita!
