She loves me! She really loves me!
It's been a whole day and she's called me twice. Once last night to tell me they finally arrived at camp and were setting up tents. She was so excited and feeling much better. She said the train ride under the bay felt like she was surfing (she's never been surfing...). Aslo that walking across the G.G. Bridge was windy!
This morning she sounded kind of down. Like a good mother I asked, "Are you feeling alright? How is your stomach?"
"Fine mom, I'm fine. Is it going to rain today?"
"No babe. It going to be windy again."
I think maybe she misses me a little. I didn't expect that so soon. Usually she has no problem with separation.
I hope she will able to let that go and just have fun!
I am. Today is my day. I'm going to do things I want to do. Running, work in Megan's classroom, and write. No dishes, no laundry, no mopping, vacuuming or dusting...I did all that yesterday and now my house is sparkling clean!
Of course I'll be still here, checking in on the blog world once in a while.
see ya!
