A second with the Sun. A morning with His Son.

Put your face right in the sun
I promise I won't tell anyone
In your eyes and out your ears
liquid drops of golden tears.

Something like that. I wrote that last week as I was driving to Fresno. It was early in the morning and I took a moment to admire the sun coming up behind me.

I often think of Jesus when I watch the sunrise or sunset. Something about that moment...when the peace of early morning glory or the blazing sherbert colors of the evening falling sky settle into my sights, I feel blessed. The warmth is true. The promise is there. I remember what Christ has done for me.

Thank You Lord.

What a beautiful post honey :)
It really brightened up my morning. Speaking of sun, our's is blood red right now. The smoke is back with a vengence and the sky looks really weird. Hopefully the fire will be put out today. Have a wonderful day in the Great Northwest!!!

Great poetry BTW...

So, thanks to you, I've decided to leave the crew notes on my planes.

The last leg of my trip today I wrote on the copy of a product order form about the existence of God (or a God) from a scientific view point (then evidence that points to Jesus the son of God, etc). I was on a 2 hour flight so I had plenty of time to write it out. I quoted C.S. Lewis and a couple other great writers. I find it intriguing what they will think of it.

I also like to leave poetic quotes to the provision agents. Today I picked John Donne and T.S. Elliot.
