Hmmm. Why do I write on this thing called a Blog???
Some of you would like to think it's for the ATTENTION! Poor old Kathy.
If that were true, it'd be so sad.
I must have an awful mother.
One who didn't show me enough attention, forcing me to seek out misguided love in others, wherever it may reside, so that I may gather it up, in all it's bits and pieces, saving it in my heart for those times when I am reminded of what a LOSER I am.

But Kathy....you post all those pictures of yourself? Why do you do that? It must be because you are so full of yourself and you want men to say things like... "Kisses!!"
No. Not really. That's nice...I must admit I do like the attention, but look a little deeper please.

I don't care what you think. I've wasted too much time caring what people like you think.
I've also spent that time tearing myself apart. I covered my butt with huge sweaters, I've refused food countless times, I've told myself that exercise didn't matter because I'd never be pretty anyway so what the point?
NO MORE.
Finally, I like myself!!!! Who I am and what I look like. I'm ready! I'm movin on. I have dreams, what do you have?
If you still don't get it, you never will. You have no clue. Grow up. I've tried to be your friend, but you can't get past the notion that I am some stupid blonde girl living in sunny Ca.
Isn't it convenient that I fit your stereotype so well. Funny thing is this.....if that's all you see, you're missing it.
I know I'm probably a nice source of ridicule in your workplace, but so what? I don't bad mouth you because that's not who I want to be.

Kathy - as a blogger, you should know that we can only control what we post, and not the comments that others leave on our site(s). But if you want to be mad at Dumb Ol' Nick, that's okay. I hate him too.

Hey Kathy. Just saw your post and I'm not sure what's happening. Let me just say this: A good 60% of the things we say are in jest. That's our way.
I rip on HAL because she watches Alias and (we just learned) the O.C.
I tear into Panda and threaten to break a bottle over her dumb head.
I chastise Duf for being Duf.
I come after Dumb Ol' Nick, because...well, he's Dumb Ol' Nick.
The point is, I try not to take anything really seriously on Blogger. I mean c'mon, we're a bunch of people writing dumb things on a website. What's there to get upset about, you know?
While I'm not sure what was written or said (or by whom), rest assured that we enjoy reading your blog as much (if not more) than you like checking in on ours (or mine).
Anyway, I'm sorry if someone connected to our group wrote a post or a comment and was an asshole toward you. That's weak sauce, man. Weak.
We'll have him/her hunted down and beaten about the neck and chest.

You know I like your site. That's why I read it every day (every weekday). Yesterday on ILiveInMinnesota I wrote about people who are more personal in their blogs, I was thinking about you. I admire your courage and the depth of your sharing. No, I don't always agree with you, but I like that you're out there, doing your thing.
One of my favorite comments on your blog of all time was written by a woman (I think in Ohio) who said that she has been reading for awhile and she really liked your site and wanted to let you know that. It kind of felt like people connecting across the information superhighway.
I like the photos. I like that you share poetry on your site (you should do it more often). I like that you check in regularly and blog often.
I even had a dream once that I was somewhere CA and ran into you and your hubby at the grocery!
When haters come at you, just tell them to jump back!

Thanks for coming to my rescue guys...and Hal. But it's Mr. H I'm mad at. His comment on your site was unprevoked and personal attack which prompted this post. It was hard to just let it go.
You won't know what he said, because chicken little deleted it.

I have to say I am sorry for what I said. I wouldn't want anyone to say that to me... I'm just trying to have fun like everyone else loving your site...don't blame Panda for removing the quote, I had her do it. I hope you have a better day-don't let my words ruin it...I just want you to know my tail is between my legs:)
