TGIF

I'll bore you with my Friday...

It went like this....

Pulled myself out of bed after hitting the snooze bar 3 times. Got my girls ready for school, which was easy- I didn't have to make lunches (friday is pizza day). No sibling fights, it went pretty smooth. Home by 8:40 and out running by 9:00.
Then computer...blogging, see my running site.... http://runforyourlifeahhh.blogspot.com/

At 11:00 my friend, Celeste, picked me up and we went out for lunch. The local deli. This is a very small town and that's the local hang out. EVERYBODY goes there, so you get to say hi to about a dozen people. Plus they have really good sandwiches. I like the turkey and bacon on sourdough bread, though even the half size is way to much and I end up feeling sick from over doing it. But it tastes so yummy. I hate to throw it away. Washed it down with an iced soy mocha.

Food and I don't always get along.
I wish we didn't have to rely on it for survival. Can't we come up with some sort of technology that changes the way we view food? We already eat just because we want to. Why can't we make it strictly a social thing?
Think of all the people who wouldn't starve to death, or the money we could save by not having to feed inmates. Of course it would put a lot of people out of a job...hmmm. I would like a choice. To eat or not to eat....that is the question.
I hate it when my stomach starts to growl and I know I have to eat. I could get so much more done if those pains would just go away for good. Restaurants wouldn't be jammed packed with a bunch of grumpy hungry folks waiting angrily for a table. Fast food chains would die off because their food sucks. People would demand better tasting food. Because really...we'd only eat for pleasure! Plus prices would go down. Supply and demand you know...

Okay-enough of that rant. I'll write it into my story.

After lunch I took off for my daughter's school. Her third grade class, all dressed in red, sang 2 very cute songs about Valentine's Day. Much Too Sweet! Of course I video taped it! What kind of mom do you think I am? That's right the one that always has the camera. I'll try to put up a picture.
When they were done, I still had about 45 minutes before dismissal, so I sat in my car and got out my ibook. Man, I love that thing! I worked on my story for a while and before I knew it, the buses had shown up and were already loading kids.
Now here I am.
Time to go make dinner- Spaghetti.

That was a day in the life of me. Exciting, huh?

Tomorrow I'll go spend a few hours in Border's. Hey...more fun. I love my life!
