Flying.

What if there was
No sun?
No Earth?
No moon?
No stars?
No universe?
No human beings?
No God?

I sometimes wake up in the middle of night trying to figure out where do I stand in the grand scheme of things and more questions arise like:

What is life?
Why is this planet one big graveyard?
Why bother worrying about it?

sorry Duf, politics are light years from entering my brainwave activity. I probably won't even vote this year. It will the first time in years I haven't voted. I believe ignorant people shouldn't vote ...and I'll admit, I AM ignorant about the issues this go around.

As for family- well yeah, that's a given. I think about them too. I call whenever I get a chance.

Creation? Sure...but I don't wonder what it would be like if there WASN'T matter...I think about how it all fits together and how one part changes another. We assume that humans have caused the most dramatic changes to occur, but I wonder if that's really true? Spectacular events are taking place in space all the time.

Last week I was gazing out the window while sitting in my jumpseat and I wrote this on the backside of my trip schedule...

The clouds look like a fresh blanket of fallen snow. They cover the sky like a frozen lake surrounded by a graceful belt of mountains. The sun rays touch their puffy peaks, casting shadows along the veins that run through them.
Beautiful is this place of perfect peace.

my flight attendants never look that good.

I'd try thinking about what life would be like if raccoons had flippers instead of legs and lived in the ocean. I bet we wouldnt have many fish left if they developed that evolutionary idiosincracy.
