Am I bad?

I know....

where is the world have I been?

Actually- I haven't been doing much work at all lately. The problem has been my internet connection. I don't have one. Right now I am in Canada. Finally I got a trip added to my schedule. However, it's after midnight and I'm exhausted. I'll try to post something tomorrow. We'll see. I still haven't finished the last post...and I was just getting to the good part.

In other news....Today the house closed escrow!!! Yipee, me so happy. Come on...don't I look happy? Sure I do.

The divorce is slow going. Lawyers!

I believe the next step is filing a motion in court for child support and alimony payments. When will this crap be over? Easy girl...easy.

One last thing...I need a new car. I am giving my beloved trooper to my mother. She needs a car worse than me. I am thinking of transfering back to Fresno and I need a car with excellent gas mileage. Any ideas? I'm thinking a Hyundai Elantra. I would love a Honda civic hybrid, but I can't afford it. I have about 15-16 grand to spend. Yes, I'm paying cash. No more debt for me!!!

Incredible. I wish I didn't have debt. Of course I also wish I had a lot of things. But anyway, I've got a story for you. Last night in Edmonton I got to be early because I had an early show. 5:15 van to be exact. So I get to sleep shortly before 10pm and set no alarm, the last few times I'd been there I the wakeup calls had been great. So I went with a 4:30 wake up call. Well at 1:09am I had a prank on me. Someone bangs on my door and says " housekeeping ". I can take a joke so a rolled over and went back to sleep. About 30 minutes later, same thing... And then a loud thud on my door at 3:00am so by this point I'm having a rough time sleeping because of that and more commotion going on. I finally went back to sleep knowing I have a wake up call coming soon. Well the phone finally rings and I slowly ignore it and grab my phone where I see that it is 5:14am I wipe my eyes to see this and the look at the desk clock to confirm it. It was correct! No wake up call! Then the phone rings again, I picked up and said," five minutes!" so I got ready and down stairs at 5:29am opening the door of my room there was all this trash at my door and only my door. We get to the plane and the jerk captian says, "ron you've been here long enough to know not to rely on hotel wake up calls and if we're late I'm going to have to write you up!" I was shocked and now all I want to do is beat the bastard up, take his "check-airman money" and file a grievance. I am pissed. But 3 more legs left.

wow! I'm so sorry Ron! Was it the capt that was knocking on your door? I bet it was...pilots are jerks. I'm not to thrilled with pilots right now either! Then he actually has the guts to say he's gonna write you up for being late???!!!!! Amazing. Seriously man, we need to get together just so we can let off some steam!
Hey, I suggest you tell all your passengers that it's your captains last day. Tell them your captain is moving to Africa to help save the "make up your own animal here" from extinction.

I nominate the pink cat as the animal to be saved. (Yes, there really is, or can be, such a thing. See my blog for details.)

Anyway... how about a Toyota Corolla or a plain Civic (not the hybrid variety)? Both get good gas mileage, and Corollas at least seem to last nearly forever.

I'm so glad the house is selling!
Hang in there, Kathy, better times are coming.
