Church at 30,000 feet

World: Meet Pastor Tim and his son, Jesse

God has been talking to lately and I really want to share this with you.
The other day I had a flight from Boise, Idaho to San Francisco, Ca. We were supposed to have 5 passengers. Instead I had only 2. I welcomed Pastor Tim and his son, Jesse onboard their own private jet! It was very cool. I actually messed up my announcements because I wasn't used to not using the PA. But they didn't care. They smiled and enjoyed my company. We spent the entire flight (which turned out to be 2 hours because of getting stuck in a holding pattern) getting to know each other. Jesse is incredibly gifted with the guitar. His church will certainly miss him. We took them to SFO so he could connect onto Austrailia where he will attend college to study music.

Ron- you're going to be VERY jealous!! He got out his guitar and played during flight. It was awesome!! Also have you noticed the similarity? Ron, you look just like this kid!

Let me back up for a moment. The morning of this day, I had been sitting in the hot tub at the hotel in San Jose. I was thinking that I missed going to church. I actually asked God if he would help me find one in Palm Springs. Well, I ended getting a horrible headache and wasn't able to get out of the room in Palm Springs. I believe God knew this would happen and actually brought Church to me at 30,000 feet!
Pastor Tim asked me if there was anything that he could pray with me about. Of course I said, "Oh heck yes!" I then spilled all my concerns to him about MB. Right there we held hands and lifted Michael to God in prayer. I was moved by the spirit and had to fight back my tears.

All I have to say is that God is good. All the time...GOD IS SO GOOD!

There is another thing that weights heavily on my mind...the guy I am dating is loosing his father. They thought he would not make it through last night. It will be soon and I just wish I could ease the pain for him. So many people I care about is suffering. I pray for peace and healing.

heck yes I'm jealous, not only does he have cool hair, he's also got an amazing breedlove he's playing it in 1C!!!!

Oh how I wish I could do that every flight. And funny, I'll bet money he's headed to Hillsong. I love though guys and I know a few of them!

PS, seems like we have little interest throughout the system with the SIA rep spot. Its really a let down.

And the forum seems to have stalled.

Ron,

What the heck happened? The town meeting started out with fire, although I had to get the ball rolling, I was actually worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up. Then just like that...nothing!

It's going to take a lot of creative thinking to get these SkyWesters involved! It might even take bribery. Money talks!
