The miracle I asked for...

For months I've been asking God to make himself real to Kaytee.

Yesterday it happened!

I'm very excited to tell you that God healed my daughter. Well, at least her foot. Which gives new meaning to the phrase..."a foot in the door".

Let me explain it quickly. Kaytee has been struggling with a planters wart on the bottom of her foot. It was located in a difficult spot on her heal. The podiatrist tried killing it with topical acid, but with no success. On Monday of this week, she did the procedure (they call it surgery) to remove it. Damn, the poor girl. You'd think she's been through enough!

Monday was also the same day she was discharged from Sutter Physciatric Center where she had spent 6 days of out patient therapy. Tuesday she returned to her school on crutches.

Now, back to the miracle. Every Wednesday her school hold "Chapel" services. On this particular day, which was yesterday, they asked if anyone wanted to come up to pray for healing. Samantha urged Kaytee to go up for her foot. Kaytee thought that was a stupid idea, but Sam insisted. Reluctantly, Kaytee hobbled up there and immediately 10 or so people followed her and laid hands on her. Everyone prayed...including Kaytee. I personally think she was praying for more than just for her foot to stop hurting.

The next part blew her away. She told me that she felt the pain leave her body. She said it was "creepy" but I know what she meant cause I've felt that feeling before.. it's when you know something happened that doesn't seem possible. But that's what He does. He does the impossible.

The pain was gone and she walked on her foot the rest of the day. I laugh inside cause I get a visual of her throwing her crutches and shouting "it's a miracle...I can walk!" Although I'm sure that's NOT how it happened. Still, I get a chuckle anyway.

She also said that another girl in their class who had a speech impairment, walked away from Chapel without it.

God made himself real to Kaytee. Thank you for your awesomeness!!!!!

That is amazing. I don't understand it, but I'm glad for her and for you!
