My thoughts exactly

While scraping the ceiling this morning, I pondered the idea of intelligence.

I've narrowed it down to this:

"It can take a long time for an intelligent person to become wise, but it takes almost no time at all for a wise person to recognize the foolish. Age is irrelevant. Young can be silent and wise. Old can be foolish and loud."
